Cameras and Lenses

Personally I'm a fan of Canon cameras.  Everything on this site was shot with Canon Powershot cameras or EOS 35mm SLR and Digital SLR cameras.  Currently I use the EOS 400D with a Tamron 18-250mm lens attached most of the time.  This last airshow I shot with a Canon EOS 100-400mm USM IS f5.6 zoom lens. 

It's a hobby

My day job is as a professional pilot, currently I fly the Citation Excel and XLS.  Photography has always been a hobby of mine and taking pictures of airplanes comes with the territory.  The more photos I took the more I learned my way around Photoshop and was able to fix some images that may have been unusable and also create some very unique photographs with a little post production time in front of the laptop.  Some are more artistic, some are just plain cool, I hope you enjoy them.
